“Everyone, stay calm, we will serve you food soon,” I said as I raised my hand in the middle of the crowded room.

I snapped my head to Roy, who was at the other side trying to calm the stirred up crowd. Through the glass of the helmet I had on, I gazed at the crowd of injured and infected wolves, a sigh leaving my lips.

Ever since Suzie left to the dark kingdom, this became our daily routine.

The wolves that had been forced to stay in the same place, were becoming restless and most of them found it hard to remain in one place for an extended period of time. Fights occasionally broke out, and so, we all had to step in and help.

Elliot was bedridden and quarantined, so he could not aid us in this. The king and queen had royal duties to attend to, and they were more than happy when we requested to help contain the plague.
