Chapter 84. Paper Work

Suzie POV

The loud scream rang in the air, making me flinch. I snapped my head to the direction of the tunnel, and sure enough, a man was sprinting away from the tunnel. In his hands was a whole bag filled with diamond that was so full, some of the diamond dropped to the floor as he ran.

Other workers ran after him, but he was just too fast for them to catch. It was not hard to grasp the situation playing out before my eyes. As I took a step forward to rush in and stop the man, I felt a firm, grip on my arm. I snapped my head back and saw Leon, shaking his head to me.

“What are you doing Leon? Let me go this instance or the man will get away!” I insisted, as I tried to free myself from his hold.

Leon, ever so nonchalant paid no head to my words. Instead, he stood in front of me, as if to shield me from a danger that was in front of us.

“You need not to worry about things like this. Do not involve yourself. I will take care of it.”
