Chapter 182. Sabbath's Heart

~3RD PERSON'S POV~

“Thanks for coming to my rescue,” Daniella said softly, standing beside Sabbath under the night sky. All the other humans that passed by couldn't see him because he existed in between the physical and spiritual realms.

“You do not have to thank me; I was only passing by and saw that little brat causing trouble in the moongoddess's world,” Sabbath replied. His smile was permanent, forever giving him what seemed to be a hauntingly happy expression on his face for eternity.

“Still, for someone who joined the group that went against the moongoddess's will to attack the mortals, you sure have changed a lot. A thousand years ago, we couldn't stand side by side like this without getting into a fight,” Daniella said.

“Let's just say a lot has happened since then. I met someone—someone who changed me. While staying beside her and watching her grow up from a youngling to the teenager she is today, I felt a sense of pity and remorse for the mortals.I
