Chapter 299. Maria's Struggle

~3RD PERSON’S POV~

Maria stood in front of the gates of the Dragnon mansion, her fists tightening and her brows furrowed as she stared into the distance. Clarabelle stood a short distance behind her, also waiting for the artificial wolves to attack.

A dense forest surrounded the entire mansion, cutting it off from the main city of Mystic Meadow, and the only connection the mansion had to the outside world was a long road stretching from the gates into the darkness of the forest.

Maria stared into the forest, gritting her teeth as the sounds of raging footsteps pierced through her ear. The sounds of roars and rustles of bushes were so clear that she could almost clearly picture how far the artificial werewolves were from the mansion.

“Why is it that the artificials are taking so long to attack? My vision was completely different from this. I have to figure out how these abilities work, or Maria might end up getting hurt for real,” Clarabelle thought to herself
