Chapter 301. Commanding Fire

~3RD PERSON’S POV~

Clarabelle sat quietly on the edge of the bed Maria lay on. Her eyes were filled with wonder and curiosity as she stared at her glowing right palm. Her palm let out a bright blue, icy glow and released what looked like glowing steam from her fingertips.

She let out a sigh, closed her eyes, and curled her fingers into a fist.

“You were finally able to access that power, weren't you?” Maria's voice sounded from behind her. Clarabelle, a little startled, turned to Maria.

“Oh, ummm, yeah. I was. I'm not sure exactly how, but I was able to gain access to all the powers of the Immortal of Fate with just one try. I saw memories of all the past Clarabeths. I felt all their struggles and all their happiness, and with that, I was able to follow all their Divine paths to unity, where our true power resided.

I was only moving through my fork in the Divine Tree, but I felt like I was moving through all of theirs as well,” Clarabelle answered.
