Chapter 49. Sauna Attack

~GABRIELLA'S POV~

The early morning bell rang, and all the maids walked out of their rooms to start on their daily chores. It was another room's turn to serve in the cafeteria, so we handed its key over to them the day before.

I and the other girls went from floor to floor, sweeping and mopping every room, hall, and passage. We cleaned every pillar we came across and even mopped every staircase in the mansion.

It was already the middle of the day before we finished. The sun was really high, but for some reason, the weather around the mansion was unbearably cold.

We proceeded to a large sauna to freshen up. Many maids often gathered there for the same purpose, and only women were allowed to enter. We wrapped towels around our bodies and removed them when we were about to get into the pool.

Me, Clarabelle, Christine, and Marie pushed the wooden door open and stepped in one by one. We looked around the room, and surprisingly, it was empty.
