Maryline’s Flashback

Adams’s POV

“It’s been two days now and the man you came with hasn’t opened his eyes yet. He’s still unconscious and your wedding is in a few days. This situation isn’t getting better.” Edmonton reminds me, I’m seated in his office, frustrated.

“I wish there was something I could do to wake him up. He’s our only key to Eve and you know that. Trust me. They will pay for every single time they made us waste.” I grind my teeth in a fury.

“Who dares to kidnap the Princess of the Solis kingdom.” Edmonton grinds his teeth. 

The atmosphere is tense.

“I will go with some troopers to the site where we were attacked if I can find something, any hint which can help us in our search.”

“Good Idea, my Prince. I will follow you to the site.”

“No, you will stay here and take care of the palace. I guess your presence is much more needed here.” I get up from where I’m seated.

“Okay, my prince.” Edmonton nods while I walk
