Chapter 76

Last Verdict. Maryline Dies on the Rope

“Eve!” I scream as I shudder from sleep. “Where the hell I’m I?” I look around and I’m lying on wait grasses naked with a blanket lying beside me.

The last I remember was being in a small pub... And... That is all I can remember. “Fuck!” I stand up and pick up the blanket which I wrap around my body and walk away. 

The day had risen already. 

Oh my God, how foolish could I be? I’m sure Eve will be so mad at me. I left without saying a word, like it was her fault. Fuck! What the hell was that? Why her and not me as it’s normally supposed to be? I always thought that no woman could be Alpha. Or perhaps it was a mid-understanding, and I reacted too fast. 

All in all, I have to return to the palace. It’s only there that I will have the answers I need. I shift into my wolf and I ride to the palace.

Nonetheless, I hope she will understand I needed space.
