Chapter 59

Killian Pov

I came back home and wanted to go straight to my room but on my way there, I saw Paula in her room, trying on her wedding dress. She had her back to me and so she couldn't see me standing there like a weirdo staring at her with a heavy heart.

She suddenly looked over her shoulders and I almost jumped, I felt like a child who had been caught stealing, but this, yearning for something that belonged to another. 

"Oh, esmy, can you come help me. I need to zip it up but I can't reach it". 

I saw that that was what was going on but I hadn't want to help her, I didn't want her to try on the dress, I wanted desperately for that dress to be too big for her or too tight, I just wanted it to not fit.

She beckoned me over with her hands.

"I was too stunned by the beauty I couldn't move"
