Chapter 45

Derek’s POV

I still cannot forget that day. I know I was drinking that night and had a couple of fights with some random guys because the bitches who tried to share a bed with me already had their boyfriend. I ended up ganging up with men, but I was thankful that I survived that fight.

But little did I know that night; the brakes of my car failed, and I was in a car accident.

When I woke up, my only relative and my cousin Ally were the only ones waiting on me.

He said that I almost died; to be exact, my heartbeat stopped for almost an hour, and it is a miracle that I survived that crash. They thought I was as good as dead as soon as they saw me.

But like a real miracle, I am recovering fast, almost like a damn vampire or werewolf from cliche books or movies. It's been a week and a day since I was discharged from that hospital, and I only had a few bruises and scratches. They are trying to ask me if they can assess me further because it is such impossibl
