Cassie’s POV

I decided to do some grocery shopping after leaving work. I am a bit surprised about the outcome of Dax becoming my boss, but I get what Angel and Dale are saying: that my new boss is kind and someone who is close to my heart, and I completely agree with that. I think I like the idea of Dax being my boss, thank goodness.

"Angel, I am so shocked to know everything," I said to her while Damon was pushing our cart full of vegetables, fruits, and different types of meat. My new condominium unit is three times as big compared to the last one, and I need to restock some of my supplies as well as cook for tonight. My son is growing so fast that he needs a lot of nutrients.
