Raina’s POV

Flushed red, I wondered what he planned to do. Something lewd was hinted at, but could we? It was going to hurt me, so what could his intentions be? Was his libido that great? Technically, he did not receive any pleasure. Was that what he was after?

There was the threat of him losing control again. Such a thought made my breath hitch, and my body felt overheated and suddenly sweating. The pain and pleasure were not so bad until he kissed my lips and it was nothing but excruciating pain that lashed me. Had it not been for the moonstone necklace, I dread to think that I might have been hospitalized again.

Maybe I was overthinking. I haven't finished eating my pizza. One slice was successfully masticated but the second was half-eaten.
