Chapter 48. Office Heat (1)

Vance's POV

Hank and his right-hand man, Jerome, didn’t budge for three days. They took the beatings and collapse a few times from the silver. Given that they were leaders, naturally, their resilience would be greater than their underlings. 

Blayne had his fun and loved applying pain to the two men using heinous methods. Everyone knew not to interfere with his procedures because that was his playground to let out his sinister side.

I stayed mostly at the pack house just working. Sianna completely moved into my house. I told her she could change anything she wanted. I was hardly home and she was disheartened that I was so preoccupied. We haven’t made love too, because she had to catch up on her studies. 

I had to conduct calls with the council each day because Hank had involved vampires and witches in his schemes. This also broke one of the rules of not interfering with other supernatural species unless for the sake of the council.
