Chapter 11

His Place

After calling him and practically begging to see his place, he finally agrees to bring me over. Of course, I had to agree to stay the night, but that was a win-win situation anyways.

Following through with Destiny’s plan, I begin to wonder if he isn’t still married. 

Who on earth would let a man like that go? He is perfect in every way imaginable. His body is to die for, not to mention he is so funny and handsome.

His ex-wife must have been stupid to divorce him.

On cue, as if Destiny was in my head and hearing my every thought, I could hear her whisper, “Maybe she didn’t.”

Shaking my head, I try to dismiss the thought because I want this to work out. I really do. I love him, and nothing else matters, that is, unless he is married. That is something I can’t work with.

I close my eyes and take a deep breath before I stand up and stretch. Letting my mind wonder
