Chapter 87

On Tuesday, Rodney Mainquist called and told me that he and his wife, Tracy, had both gotten their clean bills of health from their doctor. I was flying out of the Seattle Tacoma Airport to San Francisco, on Wednesday so I could have Thursday to discuss with Roxanne items to cover with the Board of Directors on Friday. It was a late afternoon flight, 4 PM, so Rodney suggested that he and his wife meet me at the Bahama Breeze restaurant at the Westfield Southcenter Mall in Tukwila at 1130, right outside the airport. We could chat for a couple hours and still be there two hours before the flight. He texted me a selfie so I'd recognize him when we got the restaurant.

"Laura, pack your bag for a trip to San Francisco leaving here around 10 AM, tomorrow, and returning on Saturday. I think you should spend some time with your husband. Lily found out after two weeks, so you can test for your pregnancy on Thursday. You might as well share the news with him."
