Have always known that someday, somehow my past will still come back to haunt me but what I never knew was that the past will be coming this soon…

“You have no idea how much have missed you,” he said as he let go of me again.

Just then Mary coughed behind me and I was brought back to reality.

I pulled away from him and went to stand behind Mary for support.

“Well hello Jack, it’s so nice to see you again but have got to dash off because I have something to do but he blocked my path.

“Do you think that after seeing you again after sixteen years, I will let you go like this?” he asked.

“What’s going on mom?” Mary asked.

“Mom? Is she your daughter?” he asked starring at Mary.

I couldn’t reply because My phone began to buzz.

“Hello, oh I totally forgot about the painter, I will try to find one and head to the house soon,” I said quickly and then I switched off the phone.

“Is that from work?” Mary asked
