Rose’s POV

I walked into the bar, drinking right now will be the only cure to preventing me from going crazy.

I sat on an empty seat while the waiter came to ask me for what I want.

I was having a brandy when someone came to sit beside me.

I looked up only to see Jack staring at me.

“Why are you here?” I asked.

“To have a drink, I didn’t want to be alone and so I saw you and came to you, drinking with the enemy is better than drinking alone,” he said softly.

“Ever since you began to make Emily life a problem, you have been my enemy,” he said.
