"What are you doing here?" I asked, well aware that my shock and confusion were evident.
Alpha donned an extravagant warrior's attire, one I had never witnessed him wearing previously. Clutched in his hand was a bouquet of flowers, and his expression remained inscrutable.
"Amethyst...I wanted to talk to you,"
"Alpha...did you set me up? You and Teresa?"
I fixed my gaze on him, anticipating a response. When he nodded, I drew in a deep breath. Why was he repeating this? What did he expect me to do?
