Third-Person POV
The depression that Felicity felt because of what their whole family did to Elyana increased after she heard from Quintin about the things that her best friend shared with the young Generoso. While listening, the words he heard seemed like nails being buried in his chest.
The divorcee told Quintin she intended to move away from Martincus and continue her plan to find a large land to cultivate cacao and coffee.
He felt heavy because the impact of what they did was even more substantial than he thought. Just thinking about it all made him lose his mind. What more for his best friend, who experienced all of those herself?
He couldn't fully imagine how much weight Elyana was carrying during those times, and as a friend who should sympathize with and understand her, he was one of the people who added to her pain. Felicity understood why Elyana chose to approach Quintin rather than him.
"Can you ask the doctor about her diagnostics?" Felicity
