After the nurse announced that my son needed blood, I immediately thought of seeing him, fearing that there might be some other problem and that my son needed me to be by his side.

My tears won't stop falling as I beg my parents to let me go to where he was, but they won't let me leave the room. They tried convincing me that it was not a dangerous case and that everything was under control because there were available bags of blood in the hospital, as they had already checked.
