Chapter 63. One Car

Gladwin made everyone in the living room turn to look at him. The man with the shaved mustache smiled happily, as if his words were a good idea.

Followed by Chris, he also smiled. "That's fine, that would be more efficient in my opinion," he said with his head down.

For a few moments Ed Shane and Lilyana's eyes met each other. Both of them remained silent and neither of them made a decision to approve or reject.

"Hurry up and leave, before the traditional market is quiet." Gladwin again broke the silence.

The three of them smiled awkwardly except for Gladwin who looked pleased. He smiled and stretched his hands to the sides, leading the other three people to quickly get out and leave.

"I--I'm going, Dad," Lilyana said a little awkwardly.

"Okay, take care."

The white hair that was still thick on his head swayed slightly in the wind. His eyes narrowed as the smile still lingered on his face.

He waved as Ed Shane started to drive the car.
