Chapter 119

Jacob chuckles and gives her a tight hug. Her heart feels like it is blossoming with flowers. She hugs him back. They remain like this for a while until someone knocks on the door and they jump apart in shock.

"Who is there?" Mia yells from within. 

"It's me. I know Jacob is in there. We are heading out for the survey, we thought you might want to come along." Manuel yells from outside. Jacob goes to the door to answer him.

 "Hey Manny. Uhm, y'all should go on without me. I will meet you there, alright?" He says this and Manuel gives him a mischievous smile. "Alright. Don't do anything I wouldn't." He says this and winks at him before walking down the hallway. Jacob shakes his head with a smile on his face and shuts the door.

 "Manuel is a lot. That brings a question to mind." "Yeah? Spill." "Do we have to inform the rest of the crew that we are now together?" He asks Mia. Mia has on her thinking face. "What if we don't work out in the long run
