Chapter 168

Few hours later Ice walked into the kitchen to grab a glass of water. He yawned as he stretched his body. After taking a large gulp he could see light coming from the living room. He curiously walked into the living room as he saw Emily snuggled on the pillow.

He wondered why she slept in the sofa when there was an extra bed in the room for her with pinky.

He heaved a sigh as he didn't want to wake her up. He returned to his room as he grabbed a blanket. He walked back to the living room as he covered Emily carefully.

She turned as her eyes opened. She quickly sat up as she stared at Ice panicking.

“Relax Emily, I didn't want to wake you up. It was cold and I just thought to cover you with a blanket” Ice said.

Emily stared at the blanket as she realised his intentions were genuine. she relaxed a she sat up 

“Thank you for the kind gesture” Emily said.

“You are welcome” Ice said as he nodded.
