Chapter 196

Marino paced up and down as the doctor worked tirelessly to restore Dr Richard back to good health.

“Can someone tell me what is going on with him already?” Marino asked as he was monitoring the process.

“He has been poisoned. It's a virus I haven't seen or heard if before and it's spreading around the receptors in his body. I don't know it's aim but we are awaiting report from the sample sent to the lab an hour ago” One of the doctors replied.

“Virus? Why would anyone put a virus on a knife and try to kill him with it?” Marino asked.

The doctors remained mute as they tried to focus on their work. 

Marino's presence was disturbing them but they could not do much about it. He was their boss and they could not push him out even if they wanted to.

“Is he alive at least?” Marino questioned again.

“Yes, his vitals are a bit stable but without knowledge of this virus we don't know what could happen Next” the doctor replied.
