Amara still knew nothing about the Zathkanan Palace or about Ethan being an alpha. All she knew was that he was not a human and he and she were entangled in some sort of supernatural drama. Ethan too already knew that Amara already knew that he was not human, so he didn’t care to hide most activities from her.
