Chapter 74. Pearl

Amara was shock to hear this words from Ethan’s mouth. She wasn’t expecting it at all. Her eyes went to the package, then to Ethan and she shook her head.

“I can’t take this, I really can’t. It is too expensive. What? Twenty million dollars for me, ah! No,” she panicked, but Ethan quickly held her hand and pressed his lips with hers. After a while, he let her go smiling.

“Was that too extra?” He asked.

Amara blushed and turned away, “you could have told me though, before you did this.”

“How could I have, you would have told me to give you the money instead,” Ethan said.

Amara said nothing else only staring at the packaged diamond necklace, it took a while before she spoke, but as she opened her mouth to speak, a voice called from behind them.

“I need to see just the gentleman that outbid me, argh I mean, I really wanted that necklace,” it was a female voice. The same voice who was competing with Ethan for the diamond necklace earlier.
