Chapter 99. The Signature

Logan pondered for a moment and added, “Don’t let Elena know until we are one hundred percent certain.”

“Sure.” Then Jacob left.

Sitting beside the window, Logan slightly tapped on the wheelchair, trying to sort out his thoughts. If their guess was right, what happened to Elena? And how could they ever do this to his beloved wife?

While Elena was waiting for Logan patently. When the night fell, they left for home together.

Elena suddenly remembered something and ran upstairs the signature board and a pen.

Logan looked at them and asked, “What was this for?”

“For your signature!” Elena handed them to him.

“Why? You are my fan? Eager for my signature?” Logan teased her.

“Nah. Don’t flatter yourself. It’s for Sophia. I promised her to give her your signature. Now hurry up and I can finish my task quickly.”

“My signature? For Sophia?” Logan thought for a while and remembered who she was, a lovely friend to Elena.
