The news of Brittany’s arrest reached Lucas in London. He immediately called his boss to discuss the matter.

“George has reported it to me. Well, that woman is a bit crazy. I don’t wish anything on her,” said a man on the phone. His Italian accent was thick.

“I’m sure Natalie ignored the letter Brittany wrote. The longer she’s with Mr. Vittorio, the more she’ll forget why we sent her to him. Should we start using her sister?” Lucas asked.

“You’re right. That woman shouldn’t feel comfortable.” The boss on the other side of the phone snorted and then laughed coldly. “Go for it! I want to see how she’ll deal with the threat.”
