Chapter 130. Confession

Winter's POV

Tears started streaming down my cheeks as I slumped to the floor. Everyone was freaking out around us after what Themis just said. My father invited me and my mom to their company's anniversary, but I didn't know that Themis would be here, too. And I also didn't know the dark secret that my father has been hiding from all the people around him. 

My biological father is the suspect of the killings that happened twenty years ago. He was the one who killed Themis' family. The one Themis had been looking for. 

"Winter, are you alright? Winter, come with me. Let's go home for now," my mom said to me as she helped me stand up. 

I shook my head as tears started streaming down my cheeks. "This can't be true... No.... This can't be true.... No...No...."

My heart was beating so fast that I could barely breathe already. 

All that I could remember was the face of my mom before everything went blank.
