Chapter 88. Argument
Matthew and I have nothing to do, and since Elisse insisted she want to invite her friends over to our house, we agreed with her. And now, five of her friends are here. I thought Matthew and I could finally find a way to sneak out and be together, but it turns out he became the nanny of the kids. He did nothing but play and entertain them.
"Pumpkin, can you make an apple pie for me?" I asked him while he was reading a book for Elisse and her friends.
"I'll make one later." He just said without even looking at me.
He's really like that whenever he's with somebody else, even when he's doing something related to work. It's as if I suddenly disappear and don't exist at all. I crossed my arms over my chest and glared at him before finally standing up and reaching for my phone above the center table.
Since he's busy doing something, then I might as well do something too.
I dialed Ian's number and called him. "Hello, Ian?"
