Chapter 22. So Close

I was so close to getting what I wanted....what I needed. I wanted her so badly, I want to be inside of her badly, but that has to wait. I need to just focus on this moment. Savor it. She licked her lips and they parted again. I want to suck on her lips. I wanted to make her mine, so that no one else has her. I sucked in a deep breath and I reached for a piece of orange behind her. I pulled inches away from her lips to study her face. Her eyes were on my lips.

"You're so f^cking beautiful. I never thought that you would ever occupy my mind the way that you are. I can't stop thinking about you," I rasped.

She gasped and I loved the sound of that. I moved the orange towards her lips and I squeezed, the juice dripping onto her bottom lip and into her mouth. I kept my gaze on her lips, I placed the orange back on the counter behind her and I leaned in. I was just inches away from her lips, I was going to do this.
