Chapter 39. Sneaking In

Elona's POV

I was stunned by what Tristan had told me. I turned around and walked back inside my house. I was not sure what Maggie was doing here, but seeing Tristan with her again made me so mad that I felt betrayed. I walked up the stairs to my bedroom and I took my phone out of my denim shorts pocket. There was a text from Cris.

Cris: Please, have a sleepover by me tonight. I know that it's a school night, but I am bored, and I haven't seen you this weekend. Please say you will.

I smiled at her text and this would play in Tristan's favor.

Me: Yes, I will.

I packed a little bag. I was not going over there now. I will go tonight when it is a bit dark. I finished my homework until it was time to go to her. Cris was not at school today.
