I let out a relieved sigh as I saw Alexander’s car behind us through the rearview mirror. I didn’t say a thing to Ethan who sat beside me.

I couldn’t believe he would cause a scene at my kid's party. He couldn’t wait until it was over before starting anything. He always found a way to make my life miserable.
