As soon as my eyes fluttered open, my mind went back to the events that happened the previous night. I couldn’t help but laugh at the situation.

I was also curious to know what Alexander had said to the person to make them run out of the party. I also wanted to know who the mystery person was.

My eyes were still thick with sleep but I couldn’t get back to bed because I had a long day ahead of me. Even if it was the weekend, I had office work to do. I also had to plan Amanda’s birthday party.

Letting out a loud yawn, I stretched my legs before climbing out of the bed. I went into the bathroom and washed my face, so I would feel less sleepy.

When I was done, I headed over to the kid's room. I opened the door quietly, so I wouldn’t disturb them if they were still asleep.

A proud smile flashed across my face when I saw them sleeping peacefully.
