Chapter 109. As Broken as Her

"Please believe me nothing happened between us" I said and took her hand in mine. She looked at our hand and then me. The look she was giving me was enough for me to know that she didn't trust me. Her eyes were yelling at me that I had broken her trust. there was pain and complaining in them and I would be lying if I said her lack of trust didn't break my heart. I'm as broken as her.

I shook my head to bring myself out of thought. The condition in which she found herself anyone would question. It's not her fault. I will tell her everything but the question is from where to start.

"Did we kiss?" She asked before I could tell her anything. I look at her dumb-headed, trying to figure out what to answer her.
