Chapter 5. Who Are You?

I was staring at him without blinking my eyes when suddenly he held my head and pushed me down. The next thing I heard was the sound of a gunshot. I looked at him, widening my eyes and then sat straight and looked back only to find a hole in my driving seat. One of our enemies might have shot at my head and he saved me on time. I turned my gaze towards him. He was glaring at that man as if he would eat him alive. Does he even know what they are and how dangerous they are for us?

"Stop glaring at him. He is dangerous and if he gets offended then he will play with your eyeballs for glaring at him." I scoffed

"how dare he try to harm you" he gritted his teeth. He was still giving that man a death glare. I shook my head, realising it's not time for stupid talk or making him understand how childish he is behaving. they all are in the mafia for god sake and what he is: a common man.

I look at the leader of my enemy before raising my both hands in the air, indicating to them I surrender. I can't put an innocent life in danger who was already suffering because of me.

"Move to the back seat" I whispered in a low tone.

"What?" I turned my head towards him.

"Do as I say. I don't want you to get hurt in everything"

"Why?"

"What do you mean by why? I don't want any stranger to get hurt because of me"

"So I'm only a stranger to you?" He asked with a smile. Don't know why I felt a strange pain in his voice as if my calling him a stranger hurt him but why? aren't we strangers?

"Get out of the car" I was startled when I heard their leader's voice. I turned my head towards his leader and shook my head then again looked at my lunatic stranger.

"Please go to the back seat. I will talk to them. I'm sure they will leave you if I surrender to them willingly" I whispered in a low tone, not wanting their leader to hear our conversation.

"I'm not going anywhere. If you can save both of us then fine otherwise I'm ready to die with you" I look at him dumb-headed as this is the first time someone wanted to do something for me after my parents.

"Do something.. You can stare at me all your life," he said in a panic mode. I followed his gaze and found that person pointing his gun towards me. I rolled my eyes and took out my gun. It didn't take me more than five seconds to shoot directly in the middle of his head.

"Wow!" I looked at my stupid man who was looking at me in amusement. I smirked and patted his cheeks.

"Enjoy the show, my man," I said and pointed towards the person who was near their leader. In the next second his body joins his companion body. They all started shooting. I hold my stranger's head and make his head down along with mine. We both had eye contact.

"Think once again. Do you still want to die with me?'' I asked, peering into his eyes to see any reluctance but no..there was nothing except love.. wait… Love.. no.. we just met an hour ago.

"I think you got your answer by looking into my eyes' ' He said, leaving me stunned. He is smarter than I thought.

"Move to the back seat" He nodded and did as I said before asking anything this time. I smiled at the way he understood the mission. I followed him to the back seat and started shooting as many people as I could while hiding behind the seat. Thankfully my car is bulletproof except for the front mirror but I know it won't be able to protect us much. I killed six people and was about to shoot another. That's when I realised I used all my bullets.

"What the fuck" I groaned and clutched my hair frustratingly. We are still covered with ten people and I lost all my bullets. I looked at him with fear-filled eyes while he was staring at me like a fool.

"Aren't you afraid of death?" I asked and looked around to see our enemies.

"When I'm having a lioness beside me then why should I be afraid?" I shook my head.

"You and your cranky lines" I muttered and hopped down from the car, pointing my gun towards their leader despite not having any bullet in it.

"Ask you men to drop their guns otherwise I will shoot you." He started laughing at my words.

"You're at ten men's gunpoints and threatening to kill me" I smirked upon hearing him.

"I'm not threatening you but ordering you to tell your goons to drop their gun," I said with confidence, not wanting to show them how scared I am inside

"Run stranger.. Run as fast as you can" I thought and looked at my half-wit man when I heard the sound of the car door closing, only to find him standing outside the car.

"Why did you come outside?" I yelled. To my misery, the moment I got distracted their leader held my hand and took my gun in his hand.

"Fuck" I cursed looking at their leader who was smirking dangerously. He raised his hand to slap me but I held his hand in mid and kicked on his crotch making him yell in pain.

"That's like my queen" I looked at my lunatic stranger who was smiling ear to ear. I shook my head and started fighting with the man who was coming in my way using all the tricks I learned in karate but then they started attacking me in groups, making it difficult for me to fight them together. In the process one of them slapped me, making me fall on the ground. It was so hard that my whole jaw shook and my head started spinning. It took me a minute to gather myself.

"You motherfucker" I opened my eyes and looked at my stranger with blurry eyes who grabbed the man's neck who slapped me, suffocating him to death while his companions were trying to stop him.

"stop" I muttered in a low tone and stood up taking the support of the car. All eight of them started beating my stranger when it became impossible for them to rescue their colleague. I turned my head towards their leader who was coming towards me. He was about to grab my hair but then suddenly he stopped.

"Lord Stan" His smirk turned into fear. I turned and looked at his man who was looking at their leader with widening eyes.

"What is happening?" I thought, looking at them clueless when they threw their guns on the ground before running away towards their car and driving away as if someone was coming to hunt for them. I was looking at their cars until they disappeared. I turned towards my car. That's when my eyes went on my stranger who was looking in the direction where that car went with blank expressions.

"They ran away" He looked at me upon hearing my voice.

"Did they run away after seeing you?" I asked when I saw no expression on his face… Blank as if he was expecting our enemies to leave us like this.

"Who are you?" I asked and picked up one of Goon's guns from the ground, pointing at him.

"You have thirty seconds to answer me otherwise don't blame me if I kill you" I warned and pointed my gun at the centre of his forehead while he was staring at me with blank expressions.
