Chapter 13. Take a Risk

Christian parted away from me. Don't know why his every gesture was making me feel like I hurt him.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"What will happen to me?" he shrugged his shoulders and passed me his fake smile. "You're shivering. we should go outside" I nod my head and climb the stairs. I sat on the edge of the pool, shivering. He came out and went to the other side of the pool only to come back with his coat.

"Thankfully, I removed my coat before jumping into the water" he chuckled and passed me his coat. I took it and covered my wet body.

"All my clothes got wet" I mumbled.

"Don't worry, I will arrange them in a time you freshen up in the room" I nod my head. He picked me up in his arms and started walking. I was staring at him the whole time but not for once he looked at me. A lady in her fifties came to us and passed me a room key as soon as we came out of the pool area. I look at him before taking the keys. He nodded his head.
