Chapter 68. I Will Kill Him

I wiped the sweat from the corner of my forehead.

"You just steal someone's personal diary, Ivanna. Stop behaving like you killed someone." I muttered to myself and took deep breaths to calm down. I turned my head towards Christian who was driving wearing no expression on his face but the way he was holding the steering wheel tightly was revealing he was still furious but I was not able to comprehend the reason behind his anger towards me. I rested my elbow on the window and rested my chin on my palm while staring at him.

"I'm getting late Ivanna" He pulled me out of my thoughts. I straightened my back and looked at him confusingly. He narrowed his eyes, pointing outside. I followed the direction of his finger, only to realise we were outside the hotel where I was staying. I was so lost in staring at him that I didn't even realise when he applied the break or when we reached the hotel. I passed him an awkward smile and hopped out of the car.
