Eternity’s POV

This means he knows everything about what happened this morning.

I turn away and cover my mouth. I can’t think anymore. Now I feel at the loss of words, I feel a tingling in my chest.

How will I explain everything to him?

Finally, after gaining some courage, I look at him. My hands are trembling with my toes wobbling. I can hear his heartbeat pounding in his chest. Even so, his face is hard and cold.

Before I could tell anything, he quickly stands up and goes away from there.

I sat there. I feel a hollowness in my chest. What will I do now? I should have told him about this before now. I don’t know how he will take this. Will he hate me again?

I notice an empty water bottle. I quickly grab it without wasting a second and start crushing it to relieve my frustration.

“Mrs. Knight, it’s Etan, are you alright, ma’am? It’s late already, and you are sitting here so long, you might catch a cold, ma’am,” he says to me.
