I quickly came out of my hiding place while my eyes were red from suppressed tears. “Please don’t kill him... If you want me—here I am. I will not fight back or run away for Bradley’s life...”

“Damn it! What are you doing here? I told you to stay—” Bradley did not finish his remarks when Alpha Connor’s foot pressed against his neck.

“Leila Aragon... It looks like you easily escaped my people who went to your house,” Alpha Connor responded with a broad smile. “I’m not surprised... After all, you are the sole heir of Arnold Aragon and the girl in the prophecy.”

“Since no one knows I lose my ability, there will be no problem...”

 I mumbled, and walked closer to where they were. “Tell your pack to stop attacking the Sapphire pack, and I promise I won’t trouble you.”

Alpha Connor grinned and removed his foot from Bradley’s neck. “Very well... I will not slaughter the rest of the pack, but they will be my prisoner—including their Alpha!
