Leila’s POV

On the way back to my car, I still can’t stop my heart from pounding. The image of the man on Eunice’s phone is still on my mind. “What is going on? Why does my heart keep pounding? Am I fascinated with that guy?” While shaking my head, I whispered. “Well, Eunice’s boyfriend is very attractive, so maybe my reaction is natural...” I murmured while providing an answer to my behavior.

While putting my paper bags in the back of the car, I took out my phone and read the message.

“Hmm, it looks like Eunice likes me...” I uttered when I read the message. It comes from Eunice telling me she is excited about our meeting again.

“Hmm, I wonder what Johnny’s reaction will be once he finds out I found a new friend,” I murmured, closing the car’s hood and getting into the car.

Since Johnny asked me to come immediately, I postponed replying to Eunice. I started the engine of the car and quickly left the establishment.
