Chapter 140. Take a Bath

There was a knock at the door. Veronica Parker knew it wasn't Nick Cage.

Nick Cage is the owner of this place and he just pushes the door in.

"Miss Parker, I'm coming in." With that, after a moment of hesitation, Bob pushed the door in. He was followed by two maids with dinner in their hands, all on the table and set.

"I won't eat, take it away." Without looking, Veronica Parker turned his back and looked over the guardrail into the distance.

"I'm sorry Miss Parker. Mr. Cage said that I'll have to watch you finish." Bob said.

Veronica Parker turned around in disbelief and walked up to Bob. "Why does he care about me eating? He doesn't care about anything else! "

Bob said nothing and bowed his head slightly, as did the maid next to him.

Veronica Parker knew that it was no use losing her temper with them.

It's an order from Nick Cage. They're just following orders.
