Chapter 53. Give Me a Chance

"Never see me again!" 

Kimberly's words kept ringing in Nicholas's head. Before he could answer yesterday, the woman had already drawn her conclusion, always like that. Nicholas and Kimberly are a perfect match. Nicholas as a man, took too long to make a decision. 

Meanwhile, Kimberly, as a woman, is too quick to conclude. That's why they are always involved in misunderstandings. If only you had heard my explanation first. If only you would give me a little time. 

Nicholas closed his eyes dramatically. Why is it so hard to convince you? Nicholas's thoughts were interrupted when a knock on his study door. Then, not long after, a woman entered whose presence always made her heart and mind anxious. 

"Is mom interfering with your work?" Cassandra stepped in and sat herself down in the chair directly opposite Nicholas. 

Nicholas shook his head. "No, I'm not busy. Papa's work in Canada finished?" Nicholas asked again.
