I exhaled. There was no way out of this room. I was trapped.

I sat in the corner of the room and buried my face in my legs. The door opened, and I looked up. Maleck walked in with a charming smile on his lips.

“Hello, there,”

“I want to go home, please,” I croaked. Maleck frowned

“You can consider this as your home for the time being,”

I glared at him. He was carrying a dress and heels in his hands. He placed them on the bed.

“I have children who need me. Please let me go without a fuss, Maleck,” my voice was soft now, tears rushing down my face. He crouched and wiped the tears from his eyes with his thumb. I wheezed at his touch.
