Chapter 433. A Proposition
Nalani’s POV
“They don’t need to train. Our warriors are very capable of protecting this pack,” he grounds. There are groans and cheers from the crowd. Duncan doesn’t want his pack members to worry for their lives constantly, and I understand that, but everyone needs to know how to fight.
’If they are asked to train, it’s sending a message that the threats to our pack are bigger than we tell them, and everyone will panic,’ he mind-links me privately.
’But it is a major threat, Duncan. I heard you and my brother talking about it, and everyone should at least know how to fight in case they are caught unaware in an attack,’ I reason gently, too. His face softens.
’The intruders will never make it inside the pack. I will ensure that, and every warrior will. Don’t worry, and I don’t want anyone else to,’ his tone echoes mine- gently.
I sigh in frustration. Is Duncan going to oppose our idea of training everyone? I can’t let it happen.
