Chapter 509. I’m Home…
Apphia’s POV
I’m lying on a picnic blanket at the royal lake, my body comfortably nestled into the soft fabric, the faint scent of fresh linen mixing with the natural perfume of spring. The ground beneath me is warm but not uncomfortable, heated just enough by the generous sunlight overhead. All around me, flowers bloom in careless abundance—soft yellows, vibrant purples, delicate whites, and blushing pinks swaying gently in the breeze. Petals occasionally drift loose and land on the blanket, as if even nature itself wants to be part of this moment.
The sky above is a flawless blue, unmarred by clouds, stretching endlessly like a promise. The warmth of the sun kisses my skin, sinking deep into my bones, and for a moment, I close my eyes just to breathe it all in. The air smells clean and alive, filled with grass, water, and blossoms. It feels incredible. More than incredible
