CLARISSA’S POV

I glanced at Apollo and saw him clenching his jaw, I placed my hand on his thigh. He glanced at me and I smiled trying to ease the tension. He blinked at me and I noticed a small smile appearing on his lips. I could feel everyone’s eyes on us but my attention was completely on him.

His electrifying blue eyes bored into mine, sending chills all over my body, I looked away before I lose my control and smiled at Mathew, who was smiling at us with adoration evident in his eyes.

“Clarissa, I’m happy to see you here,” he said with a genuine smile on his face,

“Thank you, Mr. Mathew!” I replied,

“Let me introduce my family to you,” he said, turning towards the person beside him.

“My wife…” he said looking at His wife, who smiled at him with love and affection, “This… Is our 2nd born and…” he said looking at Jacob, “That’s our firstborn... “ he said looking at the person sitting beside Jacob dressed in a grey suit, “...Thomas,” he said.
