Raphael’s POV

After I hugged her, the chairman and I started chatting. I also told Aurora about the dollhouse I got for her.

Camilla and Skye came into the living room.

“Mummy, Daddy said he had a present for me.” Aurora said. It was exciting hearing the word daddy come out of her mouth even though I had heard it a million times from Jason.

“Really? That’s nice.” Camilla said.

“It’s in the car. I’ll go get it.” I said and stood up.

“I’ll come with you.” Aurora said.

“No, Rory. Let him go by himself.” Camilla said.

She sat back down with a sad expression on her face. It’s like Camilla didn’t think she would be safe with me alone.
