Chapter 49

Camilla’s POV

After my call this evening with Raphael, I didn’t feel so good. I felt guilty for not letting him speak to Rory even if she was awake. I don’t know why I did that. Rory hadn’t asked for him so I figured it wouldn’t be a problem.

I went to her after she called for me. She wanted help with her homework. We finished up her homework and had to go to sleep because it was a school night.

The next morning we woke up, got ready for school and I dropped her off while Martha and I went to do some grocery shopping and then I dropped her off at her home and then went to work.

The day went really fast. I picked Rory up from school and then went home. Raphael didn't call and I also didn't want to call him. I put everything aside and went to sleep.
