Camilla’s POV

Jason’s birthday party was supposed to start at 2:00pm. It was currently 12:00pm and Rory and I were getting ready to leave. She was insisting we leave early so we could get there before others.

Raphael had already mentioned the possibility of my running into people whom I knew from the past or other public figures. He suggested I just drop Rory off and leave if I was not comfortable but I refused. I didn’t want to hide anymore. If I would be staying back here, I would be seeing them more often so what was the point?

We got in the car and then made our way to the house. By the time we got there, all the decorations were already put up and some guests had already started arriving. I dropped our gift at the table and went to look for something to keep myself busy with.
